I recently finished my second year as an elementary school Spanish teacher in an urban district. I teach in two schools, which gives me the opportunity to interact with over 800 children weekly. Although my job comes with many challenges, I enjoy teaching Spanish and I absolutely adore the kids, so the benefits outweigh the difficulties. On this blog you will find my experiences as a teacher, as well as some posts related to productivity. My other interests include travel, languages, photography, reading, and fixing up our house, so you may find some of these topics here as well. I am a Christian, so you will see that influence in some of my posts. I have included it because it’s an integral part of who I am, but I recognize that not all my readers will share the same perspective. I hope you will still find my blog to be helpful and inspiring.
I welcome your ideas and perspectives, so please feel free to share openly and often in the comments. You may also email me privately at eclecticaliah[at]gmail[dot]com.
Happy reading!
